2011 ReFRESH in the Smokies

COME THIRSTY
ReFRESH® in the Smokies
March 14-16, 2011

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” – John 7:37, 38

For too long we’ve been drinking from broken cisterns that cannot satisfy (Jeremiah 2). We are drinking carbonated Christianity that is going flat as time wears on – it doesn’t satisfy. Just like you can’t truly quench your thirst or replenish your body with carbonated beverages, you can’t substitute anything for the Living Water of Jesus and find satisfaction.

We need a desperation for that which ultimately and eternally satisfies – not gimmicks, quick fixes, programs or methods, but HIM. We are looking for “5-hour-energy” Christianity, something that will get us pumped up on Sunday mornings but is insufficient to maintain us during the week. We get fired up, and then we crash and burn.

We hope you will join us at ReFRESH® in the Smokies this year as we satisfy our thirst with Living Water. Please visit our website, www.ReFRESHConference.org, for more information, or contact Debbie Toole (debbiet@sherwoodbaptist.net, 229-883-1910, ext 1200).

*We need help getting the word out. Please share the website on your blogs, websites, Twitter and/or Facebook accounts.

  1. I wrote to Debbie about this but I am looking for a location and contact to purchase the Refresh in the Smokies where Dr. Catt’s did the “Holy Spirit Flow Through Me” cd. I think it was 2011. I need that series… it was awesome what little I heard.

I am Randy Bennett, and live in Sumter SC. I have just become a student in the Covington Theological Seminary at the late age of 63 years old.

Thank you for any help that you can offer in me purchasing the cd series. I look forward to being at future conferences.

    In Christ,

    Randy Bennett
