I’m a tweeter. I look at Twitter as more than the mundane “I had lunch at…” and “Here I am sitting by the pool (a sight you really don’t want to see)…” Most of my tweets are related to the culture, preaching, revival, or churches. Some are biting. A few, I try to use a little humor and sarcasm just to lighten things up. As a side note, I’ve discovered not everyone gets humor or sarcasm. I’m Not There, So I May Not Know All the Facts
I may be about to put my foot in my mouth, or rather, my keyboard. I’m trying to keep up with the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention online and through twitter, emails, and texts from friends. The only thing I have in common with Phoenix this week is the heat—it’s in the 100s in South Georgia and in Arizona. There are two differences: 1) They have a dry heat; 2) they don’t have gnats. Be Available
These past few weeks have been a whirlwind, including travel, the normal “Delta is not ready when you are” travel schedule and a lot of miles on my Enclave. I’ve had it 2 1/2 months and this last week alone, I logged about 1,400 miles. I think I need to see if the old TRUTH bus is still available. Plus I’m wondering if my chiropractor would consider traveling with me. I normally need either a mental or physical adjustment with the way travel goes these days. Continue reading “Be Available”
