Southern Baptist Convention Pastors’ Conference (Part 1)

Terri and I had a great two days driving to the convention. We talked about ministry, opportunities God has given us, and what might happen the next few days. This morning we were able to worship with our friends from First Baptist Church North Mobile. Voices of Mobile from the University of Mobile led us in worship. They have just returned from ministering for two weeks in Israel and Jordan and at Notre Dame. They did a fantastic job!

We were challenged in the Word from Genesis 24, and Johnny Hunt and Ed Litton shared from their hearts. We are believing God for great things. Personally, I’m feeling the weight of preaching on Monday from Philippians 2:2. We need the breath of heaven that will sweep away our agendas and leave us with His agenda alone.
